That man is Dazai Osamu, and he and his partner Kunikida are members of a very special detective agency. They have supernatural powers and deal with cases that are too dangerous for the police or the military. They're tracking down a tiger that has appeared in the area recently, around the time Atsushi came to the area. The tiger seems to have a connection to Atsushi, and by the time the case is solved, it is clear that Atsushi's future will involve much more of Dazai and the rest of the detectives! เรื่องราวกล่าวถึง “นาคาจิมะ อัตสึชิ” เด็กหนุ่มที่ถูกขับไล่ออกมาจากสถานเลี้ยงเด็กกำพร้า จนได้มาพบกับ “ดาไซ โอซามุ” ชายหนุ่มสุดเพี้ยนพยายามฆ่าตัวเอง แต่การได้พบกันครั้งนี้ กลับทำให้อัตสึชิต้องเข้าไปพัวพันกับเหตุการณ์ตามล่าเสือโคร่งสีขาวที่ปรากฏตัวขึ้นอย่างลึกลับ และยังชักนำให้เขาเข้าไปเกี่ยวข้องกับสำนักงานนักสืบบุโซ ซึ่งเป็นการรวมตัวของกลุ่มคนผู้มีพลังพิเศษที่คอยไขคดีเหนือมนุษย์ที่อยู่เหนือความสามารถของตำรวจธรรมดาจะทำได้ แต่เเม้เรื่องเหลือเชื่อจะเกิดขึ้นอย่างกระทันหันจนยากที่อัตสึชิจะเชื่อได้ แต่เรื่องเหลือเชื่อกว่านั้นกลับกำลังจะถูกเปิดเผย เมื่อแท้จริงแล้วเขาก็คือหนึ่งในผู้มีพลังพิเศษ ยิ่งไปกว่านั้นก็คือ เสือโคร่งสีขาวดังกล่าว คือ อัตสึชิ นั่นเอง…
