Being a fan of Iliza and her work makes me biased in terms of my take on this movie. I will try to be objective and honest.
Its a tad bit of a yawner, maybe they hurried the writing process, I don’t know. It is funny, in its own way, and to know thats ifs based on a real life experience, definitely gives it a quality you dont see in a lot of movies. To call it a romantic comedy is like calling Spaceballs a Sci Fi Thriller, but its a comedy, maybe more in the realm of sit com extended.
Who cares about the label. It was definitely worth watching. Iliza is an awesome comic, a good actor and I’m looking forward to seeing what she is capable of!
