Nah. I can't even with this movie. I absolutely fell in love with the book as a child and read it nearly 25 times, so I pretty much remember everything that happened in the book and the movie is a terrible reflection on it. In fact, they created a whole new main character for this movie. Don't get me wrong, Russell Brand is a great actor and was brilliant in the movie, but his characters presence kind of ruined the movie. In the movie, they went on long walks from their own home to the forest for picnics and the pssamead was buried in the sandpit and the children didn't teleport to some random beach. In my humble opinion, don't waste your time on the movie, however, I DEFINITELY recommend reading the book.
