Juliet, Naked (2018) [บรรยายไทย]

When the Netflix video arrived (we have limited internet in NW Alaska, so no streaming) I’d forgotten ordering it, couldn’t remember why I’d ordered it, didn’t bother to see who was in it, and almost sent it back unwatched. But then my husband was spending a Saturday night in the garage drinking beer with his buddies, and there’s never anything decent on TV on a Saturday night, so I figured what the heck. Wow - what an unexpected delight!!!





 

I’ve loved the fabulous Chris O’Dowd ever since I saw him in Bridesmaids. And I’d loved Rose Byrne ever since she stole my heart in This is Where I Leave You. And Ethan Hawke was so good in this I was never even sure it was him! It wasn’t until the credits that I saw Judd Apatow had a hand in this, and it is his best ever because because it stayed just below being over the top as a rom com. 

You don’t need me to tell you what it’s about. I will tell you that unexpected, engaging, delightful and charmingly believable are words I’d use to describe it. I hope you will enjoy it as I did! Just don’t turn it off before the credits start to roll!
